Description of the artwork:
Lindley was the person presented on the artwork.
The artwork was printed on A4 paper and the print is a little bit smaller than A4.
The face almost covered the whole print and the face is leaning in the left.
The expression on the face is serious.
The portrait has been composed as an open cropped head.
The eyelid has a cross-hatching pattern and the side of the face has different thickness of lines the eyebrow is a little bit thick. There's also line patterns on the chick.
The hair has a lighter tone because there's a lot of lines presented on the part.
The tone of the print is darker on the bottom and lighter on the top because there's a lot of cuts around the top part and few on the bottom. There's a lot of patterns going on the top part.

Lindley,
ReplyDeleteYou have done well with the lino-print unit in Art. The print is well composed especially the way the left eye occupies the centre of the page. The white shapes move around the eye brow, down the side of the head and through the collar of the shirt creating an elliptical movement. Well done. Keep up the good work.
