Drill gauge & F shape with safety

We have been working on Drill gage and F shape for about 14 weeks now. I am glad that I had a chance to finish it because some people didn't have enough time to finish their work.

This is what I have done for the last 14 weeks. Doing this project is not a big deal for me because I've done Metal tech last year so I kind of know how to do it. However, the F shape is a little difficult to do because you have to file it right or else it will not fit. The drill gage is not that hard because all you have to do is drill it and file the edges.

Equipment:
60x25 ferrous steel
scriber
Engineers blue
Hax saw
File
Ruler
Vernier caliper

Method:
First, you have to get a two 60x20 ferrous steel and then clean both side of the 2 piece until you think it's clean. Second, add engineers blue on one side of the piece, after the engineers blue is dry, get a scriber and mark the right measurement. After you've done that, go ahead get a hax saw and cut the part that you don't need. Once you've finish cutting get a file and clean the edges and make sure the 2 piece can fit together after you did that clean your work and you're done.

Equipment
60x120 ferrous metal
scriber
Engineers blue
Hax saw
File
Ruler
Vernier caliper
Center punch

Method:
Get a metal same as the one you use for your F shape. Just like what you did in F shape, you have to clean it and put engineers blue so you can mark your measurements. Go ahead and find the drills you need and drill the holes. After you done drilling, go to the buffing machine to polish your work so you can oil dip it.

Safety

Bench DrillIn terms of using a drill you have to wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from bits flying around. You need a partner to help you turn on and off, just in case things go wrong you can turn off the drill.

Buffing machine -  Using the buffing machine, you have to wear a face shield to protect your face just in case your work flies.

Oil Dipping - When oil dipping your work you have to wear an overall suit to protect you from the fire, gloves to protect your hand from heat, and safety glasses to protect your eyes.
